I built Kordra Music as a web app for planning songs, developing lyrics and reviewing alternative versions before taking them into an audio generator.

The problem
Planning a song meant switching between notes, prompts and audio generators, then trying to keep track of revisions.
My approach
I put the song plan, lyrics and review tools in one web app, with exports for the next stage of recording or generation.
Current result
A live product with 900+ songwriters registered as of 3 August 2026.
Decisions
I started with the preparation around AI music generation: the song idea, lyrics, structure and notes for the sound. Keeping those together made it easier to return to a draft and revise it.
The first version was Suno Architect, a tool for preparing prompts. I expanded it into Kordra Music as I added song planning, review and variations.
Focus on song preparation
I concentrated on planning, writing and review. You can export the song and production notes to use with an external audio generator.
Keep song form visible
I kept sections, lyrics and production notes together in the editor so you can review them as parts of the same song.
Show the basis for feedback
I put review suggestions beside the song’s structure and energy information so you can judge whether the advice fits the draft.
Protect the working draft
You can save an alternative direction and compare it with the current song before deciding to apply it.

Export the song and notes
I added copy blocks and file exports for lyrics, production notes and model settings so you can continue in another tool.

Plan the song with a Blueprint
The Blueprint asks about the song’s idea, style and voice. You can review those choices before opening the editor or using an external generator.
Write and review by section
I built an editor around song sections, with coaching and review tools beside the draft. You can revise the lyrics while referring to the feedback.
Save alternative versions
You can save a variation as a separate branch or apply it to the song. The current draft stays available while you compare options.

From prompts to song planning
I expanded Suno Architect’s prompt preparation into a web app for planning, reviewing and exporting songs.

Limitations, lessons and next steps
Limitations
I had to choose which parts of song preparation to build first.
AI responses vary and cost money to generate. Writers need to review suggestions before applying them.
Writers need to take their lyrics and production notes into other tools, so exports are part of the core app.
Reflections and next steps
I started with a prompt planner for Suno.
As I used and developed it, I added song structure, revisions and export options.
I gave Kordra Music a distinct identity. Here on my portfolio, I can explain the design and development decisions behind it.
Expanding beyond prompts meant deciding how much of song planning and revision belonged in the app.
I needed writers to be able to inspect suggestions and compare variations before changing their draft.
Building the live web app also meant handling subscriptions, model integrations and the cost of AI requests.
